Who we are
Scudo Benefits Group LLC is an independently owned and operated insurance agency. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Contact details you submit, such as name, email address, phone number, state, and ZIP code.
- Coverage and eligibility details you choose to share, such as household size, income range used for subsidy eligibility, coverage preferences, and qualifying life events.
- Business information when an employer requests an ICHRA comparison, including aggregate headcount, age bands, ZIP codes, and dependent mix.
- Basic technical and analytics data, such as pages viewed and the path you took through the site, used to understand how visitors find and use our content.
We do not request employee names, Social Security numbers, dates of birth, or any health information as part of an employer census.
How we use your information
We use your information solely to respond to your request: to prepare quotes and cost comparisons, confirm eligibility, answer your questions, and help you apply for and service coverage you choose. We contact you only through the channels you consented to when you submitted a form.
How we share it
We share your information only with the insurance carriers, state marketplaces, and federal enrollment systems needed to process the request you made, and with the vetted technology providers that host our website, database, and email.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers, data brokers, or unrelated third parties.
Do not sell or share my personal information
Scudo Benefits Group does not sell your personal information and does not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of. We also do not use or disclose sensitive personal information beyond the purposes permitted for quoting, comparing, and enrolling you in coverage.
If you would still like us to confirm this in writing, or you want to exercise a right to know, correct, delete, or limit the use of your information, email austinw@scudobenefitsgroup.com with the subject line "Do Not Sell My Info" and we will respond within 30 days. We will not discriminate against you for making a request.
How we protect and retain it
Information is encrypted in transit and at rest with our platform providers, and access is restricted to licensed agents at Scudo Benefits Group. We keep records only as long as applicable insurance and tax regulations require, after which they are securely deleted.
Your choices and rights
- You may request a copy, correction, or deletion of your personal information at any time. We respond within 30 days.
- You may withdraw consent to be contacted at any time by replying STOP to a text message, asking us during a call, or emailing us.
- Consent to be contacted is never a condition of purchasing any insurance product.
Cookies and analytics
We use privacy-respecting analytics to measure page views and which pages lead to quote requests. We do not use this data to build advertising profiles about you.
